BACK-ON at Anime USA 2013

Many different Japanese rock band perform based on where they began to form as a group. For instance, according to Wikipedia, BACK-ON is from the Adachi special ward in Tokyo signed with the avex trax sub-label cutting edge. They were invited back to perform at Anime USA in 2013 after a 6 year break from the US and were also star guests at Pacific Media Expo shortly after. The band will perform at Anime Friends in 2014 - this will be their first visit to Brazil.

SCANDAL live concert

The Japanese pop-rock girl band SCANDAL is from Osaka, Japan. Scandal started 2013 by fulfilling one of their biggest dreams they had since their formation by performing in their hometown at the Osaka-jō Hall in March. Later that month they also performed to sellout crowds on their 2nd Asian Tour in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. During this period they also announced their fourteenth major single "Awanai Tsumori no, Genki de ne" released in May, with the title track being used as the theme song for the movie "Ore wa Mada Honki Dashitenai Dake". They also took part in some music festivals like KAWAii!! MATSURi 2013 at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, and Rock in Japan Festival 2013 at Hitachi Seaside Park.

Stereopony live concert

Another all-girls Japanese rock band Stereopony that is from Okinawa signed to Sony Music Entertainment. Stereopony performed at Anime Boston 2011 as special guests at the Hynes Convention Center on April 23. They played a wide selection of songs from both albums and their latest single, as well as a cover of Green Day's "American Idiot". Shortly after returning from their appearance at Anime Boston, the group announced they would be providing the theme song to the 2011 film Tengoku kara no Yell (天国からのエール). Stereopony attended a press release event for the film, for which they are providing the theme song.

BUMP OF CHICKEN 2013 'Willpolis' at Yokohama Arena

A Japanese rock group BUMP OF CHICKEN is from Sakura, Chiba, Japan. They signed to TOY'S FACTORY label and managed by LONGFELLOW. On March 6, 2013, Bump of Chicken released their first live video and album Bump of Chicken Gold Glider Tour 2012, recorded live at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan on July 3, 2012.
